Badge Positions
The official line from Girlguiding is that Brownies can display their interest badges in whatever way they wish.
However Brownies (and parents) always like a little guidance and we are constantly being asked where to sew badges, so please find below our suggested positions……….
| PROMISE BADGE | Top right front side of gilet or hooded jacket |
| NAME TAB | On top of right shoulder of gilet or hooded jacket |
| SIX EMBLEM | Top right front side of gilet or hooded jacket ** |
| STAFFORD KNOT | Back of neckerchief. (correct way up!) |
| CASTLE DISTRICT BADGE | Middle of back of gilet or hooded jacket. |
| BIRTHDAY BADGES | Bottom right front side of gilet or hooded jacket * (picture shows new design - we will be finishing our old stock before handing new ones out) |
| THINKING DAY BADGES | Bottom right front side of gilet or hooded jacket ** |
| INTEREST BADGES | Left front Side of gilet, or Left side and arm of hooded jacket. (Once full - put anywhere on the back) |
| SIXER / SECOND BADGE | Top right front side of gilet or hooded jacket. ** |
Legs 11 | OTHER / SPECIAL | Bottom of back of gilet or hooded jacket. (Once full - put anywhere on the back) |
** only one of these badges to be worn at a time. If a new one is given out, please remove the old one and replace with new. (Old badge can be kept as keepsake…. Maybe sewn on a future camp blanket !)
